What are the video tutorials about?

Our tutorials include everything you need to know about the right installation, deinstallation and configuration of PULS products. From exact step-by-step instructions, how to mount or demount a power supply unit on a DIN rail, to useful tips for wiring – we have thought about everything!

Let’s start with an example:

Our Field Power Supplies of the product family FIEPOS are designed for use directly in the field. To ensure integration into different infrastructures, the power supply units are available with different plug connectors. However, the connection of a Harting Han Q plug differs from a circular plug. Thus, the correct wiring and disconnection of our FIEPOS units is explained in detail in the videos.
There are different clamps for the IP20 power supply units that are used in the switch cabinet: spring-clamp terminals, push-in terminals, and screw terminals. Depending on the type, different factors must be taken into account during installation, for example, the tightening torque for screw terminals.

Which video tutorials are new?

We are continuously working on more useful tutorials for you, that will be available soon. Recently, there have been two new videos about installation and configuration as well as protection features of our electronic circuit breakers.

Furthermore, you will learn how to switch the output channels of a PISA-B circuit breaker on and off, how to check and set the tripping current of each output channel and how to define the tripping characteristics of the output channels. It is also possible to perfectly customise device details on the PISA-B to suit the application. For example, the sensivity of the power supply unit’s overload protection can be changed or the communication mode can be switched.

How are the video tutorials produced?

The production of our How-to-Videos involves a great deal of effort, attention to detail and the highest level of technical accuracy. All videos are produced with a significant amount of time and thorough technical preparation by our Technical Documentation Team in cooperation with our Product Managers. Finishing a video can take several weeks.

We use artificial intelligence for the production of our videos. The speaker, his voice and the picture in the videos, is not a real person but an AI-avatar. We still named him: Adrian. For the real videos of the devices we use a mobile setup, providing us with lots of flexibility. Our employess demonstrate the steps of the installation, operation, and deinstallation of the PULS products, while Adrian guides you through the various steps. As a watcher you have the opportunity to choose between German and English subtitles.
