The renowned jury from business, media and science sectors was impressed by PULS’ implementation of the Social Collaboration Strategy and sees PULS as a pioneer in the field of New Work in German SMEs.
With the “Journey to Social Collaboration”, PULS started an innovative project in 2016 with a very strong employee integration.
Thanks to the social collaboration tool “PULS PAN” (PULS Private Active Network), PULS employees gain global access to knowledge and information within the company. This increases transparency while simultaneously simplifying global collaboration across all locations.
PULS employees were closely involved in the ambitious project right from the beginning. Thanks to clever storytelling, the journey to social collaboration became more than just a labour-intensive “business trip”. The employees began to enjoy digital collaboration. Today the social collaboration tool is an indispensable part of the company.

They are forward-thinking, have innovative ideas and the courage to fully utilize their potential”, commented Wolfgang Clement, patron of the German Excellence Award, former Minister for Economics and Labour and Minister-President, during the event.
The German Excellence Award is presented annually to companies that distinguish themselves through outstanding achievements in business. Top managers, start-up founders and experts from the digital and creative environment gather for this occasion.
Organisers include the German Institute for Service Quality (Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität), DUB UNTERNEHMER magazine and the news channel n-tv. There was a total of 63 awards given from 26 categories.
