Status WEEE compliance

Implementation of the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU and obligation to take back waste electrical and electronic equipment

In the European Union, the disposal and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment is regulated by the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU. This law makes manufacturers and distributors responsible for the disposal of waste equipment at the end of its life.

The “crossed-out wheeled garbage can” symbol on the electrical equipment indicates that it should not be disposed of as household waste, but must be collected separately. We also advise you to delete any personal data on the devices that are to be disposed.

In its role as a manufacturer and distributor of electrical and electronic equipment PULS is legally obligated to take back old equipment and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly and legally compliant manner.

In order to avoid long logistics chains, we generally recommend that old equipment is handed over to regionally based and approved waste management companies for disposal.

Regardless of this:

  • you can contact your local PULS sales office in the Czech Republic for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment via e-mail address: material.compliance@pulspower.com
  • further Information about the registration, return and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment please request at local PULS sales office in the Czech Republic via e-mail address: material.compliance@pulspower.com
