The office spaces in the Suzhou plant – which were the main foci of this award - are designed to be open, light-filled and modern. This provides a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere which is appreciated by PULS employees. The production site in Suzhou has already been recognised in the past for its environmental and employee-friendly architecture and awarded the prestigious LEED Gold Award.
"Our production in China is operated in accordance with our international PULS standards which are based on highest levels of quality and fairness. These principles affect the quality of our products as well as the satisfaction of our employees. This award is another endorsement that our strategy is working effectively for PULS and its valued employees", explains Bernhard Erdl, CEO, owner and chief developer of PULS.
In terms of working conditions, PULS plays in the same league as the larger companies in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). Among the winners of the Best Employer Award 2015 are global corporate groups and high-tech companies such as GE, Panasonic, Yokogawa and Delphi, as well as successful consumer brands such as the sportswear manufacturer Adidas.
The award endorses PULS' ambition to be one of the most attractive employers in this giant industrial park near Shanghai. Currently, more than 4,000 companies from all over the world have settled into the SIP and their company buildings extend over an area of more than 288 square kilometres.
Design and employer awards have always been very important to PULS. Since its opening in 2006 the PULS production facility in Chomutov, Czech Republic, has fascinated customers, journalists and employees with its pleasant working environment, modern design and efficient manufacturing processes. It was nominated for the award for Czech Republic’s best industrial building in 2007.
