The optimized data standard is intended to standardize the component data available in the EPLAN Data Portal. Consistently high data quality facilitates the design of a digital twin of the cabinet and helps to automate CAE processes. For example, cable lengths can be calculated automatically, the reliable total weight of the control cabinet can be determined, or complete BOMs can be exported.
