Application Engineer Wireless Charging*

Electrical/electronics engineer wanted to provide support in a dynamic Freiburg-based team with innovative products!

  • When the salespeople and the field application engineers can’t find a solution, this is where you and your expertise come in. You play a key role in supporting our international customers and ensuring that our innovative product for wireless charging, Wiferion, provides the customers’ applications with a reliable supply of electricity.
  • You know what it’s all about. Regardless of the type of application, installing systems remotely and on customer sites is part of your normal day-to-day work.
  • You can easily resolve problems in the field. Identifying and fixing faults is something you really enjoy.
  • To keep our product ahead of the competition, you collect benchmarking and other data so that it can be continuously improved and developed.
  • As an application engineer you support the sales team, your colleagues in the field and our customers. Your expertise is available for new integrations, problem-solving and in-depth technical issues.
  • Is everyone on board? With your excellent communication skills and inspirational style, you create and give technical presentations and prepare application notes for customers, partners and internal teams.
  • No problems, only solutions. Even in the case of major faults, you stay calm and support the customer until a solution is found. Customer satisfaction is important to you!
  • If a problem can’t be handled remotely, you are happy to meet the customer at their premises and resolve the integration issues or faults on site (around 20 percent of cases).
  • You have a good degree in electrical engineering or an apprenticeship in the same area. Ideally, you also have initial experience of working in the field of application engineering.
  • As well as a keen interest in electrical engineering and application development, you have a thorough knowledge of battery management and electrical installations.
  • We don’t expect you to take the run-of-the-mill approach. We’re pleased if you come up with inspirational ideas that are valuable for the team and the customers.
  • You put the customer first. With your empathy and analytical skills, you give customers the best possible support and quickly and efficiently overcome any obstacles that you encounter. In addition, you are always happy to give expert advice to colleagues.
  • As an international team player, you work efficiently with our global partners, sales offices and multinational teams, both virtually and in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills are essential for your interface role and so you must speak fluent German and English. Any other languages are, of course, a bonus.

Welcome to our team! You can expect not only interesting professional challenges, but also a corporate culture based on openness and teamwork. We have flat hierarchies that give you the space you need to develop your ideas and your creativity. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including holiday pay, additional insurance, opportunities to work at home and a secure job. In our team, you not only have challenging work to do, but also a range of different tasks that will bring variety to your working day. And when you take a break, our high-quality espresso machine makes the best coffee, which gives you the energy you need. We love good coffee just as much as we love innovative technologies and table football. As part of a successful international organisation, you work not only with great colleagues, but also with innovative technologies. You have the chance to play an active role as a member of a team that is helping to shape the future.
