Redemption obligations of waste batteries
PULS distributes industrial batteries as an assembly for further processing in their DC-UPS systems. In its role as a distributor of industrial batteries, PULS is therefore obliged to take back used batteries. The disposal itself is carried out via the return system by the battery manufacturer.
The take-back obligation includes a free return of batteries in close proximity to the point of sale. PULS offers its customers the service of a free take-back of all waste batteries at all PULS sales offices and also at the following address:

General statement of PULS GmbH to the European Battery Directive 2006/66/EC
European Battery Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 September 2006 regarding waste batteries and accumulators and repealing Directive 91/157/EEC.
PULS carries the environmental responsibility to meet the legal requirements and therefore environmental compatibility of their products by developing advanced technologies and processes. In the area of waste battery management as used as buffer units in our DC UPS systems (uninterruptible power supplies), we meet this responsibility in the EU by fulfillment of national waste disposal laws of the member states (eg in Germany the BattG). These national legal requirements implemented in the European Directive 2006/66 / EC came into force on 6 September 2006 as amended by Directive 2008/12 / EC of 11 March 2008 and ensure compliance with these requirements.
